These crumpets are absolutely delicious. I love them toasted with butter and anyone who says they are tasteless needs to get their taste buds checked. They are not meant to taste like cookies or cake, but to be enjoyed with whatever toppings you choose. The crumpets and toppings complimenting each other.

I've been a lover of traditional English crumpets since childhood! Unfortunately they are very difficult to find in the US and too expensive to order from overseas. The crumpets offered by Wolferman's are a worthy substitute but lacking somewhat in taste and texture. The crumpets are thin and compressed further by the packaging method. The top surface is somewhat lacking in those wonderful holes that allow butter and jams to soak through the entire crumpet. A good buy for the price but I still yearn for the more traditional crumpet.

I ordered these to have on hand for visitors. They arrived on time and were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The crumpets are wonderful toasted or not toasted. We all tried them several different ways - butter, jam, pumpkin butter, cinnamon & sugar - and they were all delicious.

Crumpets are a fond memory from when I was growing up in England. Toasted, buttered, eaten on their own or with cheese. Always a special treat. These are just right. The flavoured ones encourage exploration of different toppings, or enjoy their own taste. Could not be better.
